A harvest day at Organic Sea Harvest is always a busy day for the sites teams - but also a very important one!

The exposed locations of the OSH sites are perfect for raising our organic salmon. However, poor weather conditions can often present challenges to the site operations, including harvesting, due to a high sea swell that can run by the sites.

You can watch a wee glimpse into a harvest day on the video below, which shows the sites team and vessel 'Ocean Aquila' arriving at site. Despite the relatively calm windspeeds, there was still a sea swell present as you can see in the video.
